Principal
Consultant - Carl Larsen
Carl Larsen began his extensive
consulting career in 1970 with Philips as HR manager in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. 3 years later, he moved on to International
Institute for Organizational and Social Development (IOD) in Belgium where he became one
of the partners. In 1978, he serviced in a non-profit organisation as
director for a mental health institute in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
Carl
rejoined Philips in 1989 and expanded his career internationally. He was later based in Singapore for
4 years as regional training director.
In 1999, he became a member of corporate HRM of Philips International
in Amsterdam, as
director of the International Resources Group, providing management training
and development / assessment centres to all
world-wide product divisions.
In
2001, Carl started IRC to organise and deliver
international management development activities for European MNCs. He also conducts ‘Coaching for
Performance’ and ‘MBTI’ workshops in Asia and Europe.
Besides
his commercial career, Carl has also taught in universities in Eindhoven and Amsterdam as
part-time lecturer and invited speaker.
He has also co-authored 3 books, namely ‘Communication During
Turn-Around’, ‘Learning to Stimulate Learning’ and
‘The Coach Approach’.
Senior
Consultant – Mira Ma
Since 1999, Mira Ma has been in Europe developing her management
consultancy career with the objective of integrating her business experience and
knowledge of Asian companies with the European business culture. Being fluent in English, Mandarin and
Cantonese, she is able to work closely with international companies to coach
Chinese managers to boost their ability to drive performance in China’s business
environment. She also guides
international managers on their personal career development. Her core values
in her professional practice are: ‘Help people to help
themselves’, ‘Work on positive energy’ and ‘Challenge
the process’.
Prior to becoming independent,
Mira has had an extensive 10-year career in HRD and business management
in Asia. She has practical experience in areas of learning
and development, customer service, creating business value & talent
management. In addition, she has been involved in delivering programs
and sharing sessions for both private and public sectors.
